Principle of operation for test point fitting
The pressure measuring coupling is normally connected to a pressure measuring hose.
The pressure measuring hose contains a corresponding thimble (also available with its own dust cap with thimble).
When the pressure measuring coupling acts alone, the self-sealing valve is closed due to the spring action.
When connected to the pressure measuring hose, the ejector pin opens the self-sealing valve.
The fluid flows out of the hydraulic system and a sample or pressure test can be carried out. We have lots of test point fittings, test hose, pressure gauges, and gauge kits for your hydraulic systems.
