The 37 flare flange will be slid onto the pipe before the flaring. After the flaring, the cone is located inside the pipe. The o-ring surface cone with o-ring seal is fitted with the plane cone. Both cones have spare O-rings. Bolted together, the flaring and conical tubes are in contact with each other, providing an elastic seal at the flaring and end faces.
Flanges can be rotated before bolting, so there is no need to worry about fitters aligning the pipe axis of the flange hole. 37 flare flange can withstand pressures of up to 6,000 psi. Standard connections are provided in accordance with SAE 61 (ISO 6162-1), SAE 62 (ISO 6162-2).
