37° flare flange is a typical non-welded pipe connection for 1/2"-8" or 20-219mm carbon steel or stainless steel hydraulic piping systems with operating pressures up to 420bar(6,000 psi) in accordance with SAE Code 61, SAE Code 62, and ISO6164 standards.
The flange form is suitable for any pipeline installation. The structure mainly consists of 37° flaring pipe, two inner cones with O-rings in contact with the groove, one of the vertebrae with o-ring grooves, and two standard flanges and bolt nuts. The inner cone can be replaced with a lengthened vertebra with a discharge cock.
Preparation for flaring:
cut the pipe of appropriate length to ensure the smooth incision, remove the burr at the incision and remove the metal scraps generated after cutting or grinding, and insert the loose flange into the flaring end.
Flaring construction:
select the corresponding flaring cone of the pipeline model, check the smoothness and flatness of the cone surface, fix the flaring cone and clamp, locate the pipe end, accurately measure the depth of the flaring, add lubricating oil on the cone surface, and operate the flaring equipment into the cone flaring according to the forming pressure and the forming schedule of the flaring.
Flaring inspection:
retract the flaring cone head, loosen the clamp, take off the flaring pipe end, clean and check the flaring cone, the flaring cone should be smooth and without cracks.
Assembly inspection:
remove the burr of the outer wall of the pipe caused by clamping with a file, assemble the flange cone core of corresponding specifications, and knock it with a soft hammer to make the cone core and the flaring end assemble in place. The joint between the cone core and the tube flaring surface should be evenly fitted without gap, and the distance between the flat end face of the cone core and the line outside the flaring surface should be equal.
Combination inspection:
flange, flaring pipe and cone core combination in place, to ensure that the flange can freely rotate at the flaring, no jam phenomenon. And tighten according to the specified bolt torque.
