On July 30, 2022, the fishery fishing and processing vessel "Deep Blue", built by CSSC Guangzhou Huangpu shipbuilding co., ltd .was successfully delivered. This vessel is the first one built in China and the most advanced fishery fishing and processing vessel in the world at present.
"The vessel is designed by Wärtsilä Ship Design, Norway, with an overall length of 120 meters, a beam of 21.60 meters, a design draft of 7.3 meters, a design speed of 15 knots and a crew of 99.
The vessel can meet the operating requirements of ICE-A ice zone (ice thickness 0.8m) and -25℃ low temperature environment, and is mainly used for fishing in the Southern Ocean and also for marine scientific research. The vessel is equipped with the world's most advanced variable layer trawl system, truss rod continuous pumping system and several automatic product processing lines, which can carry out continuous processing and automatic packaging and transportation of products.
