The hydraulic tubing

The hydraulic tubing is the blood transfusion pipe of the hydraulic system, responsible for conveying hydraulic oil to the designated working organization. The unreasonable installation of the tubing will not only bring trouble to maintenance, but also cause excessive pressure loss, noise and other undesirable phenomena, and even cause the hemiplegia or total paralysis of the hydraulic system.


Principle of installation and layout of hard pipe
1. When laying out pipes, try to keep the pipes away from the parts that need frequent maintenance.
2. In order to facilitate maintenance, hydraulic pipelines should be painted with different colors according to different pressures.
3. The pipe section between two fixed points should have at least one pipe to adapt to thermal expansion and cold contraction, and tight straight pipe connection should be avoided as far as possible. Straight pipe connection is difficult to load and unload, and in the work, the pipeline will produce serious tension pressure, easy to lead to pipe joint damage.
4. The configuration of pipelines should be considered neat and beautiful, convenient maintenance. Pipelines should be arranged in parallel and less cross. There should be a clearance of at least 10mm between parallel or crossed pipes to prevent vibration caused by contact between pipes and leave enough space for the installation pipe head.
5. Bending radius should usually be determined according to the outer diameter of the hard tube, bending radius should be greater than 3 times the diameter of the hard tube.
6. Pipe length should be as short as possible, so as to reduce pressure loss and delay and vibration phenomenon. The main failure mode of hard pipe is fatigue failure caused by mechanical vibration, so when the pipe is long, pipe clamp should be added to support. The distance between brackets varies with the outer diameter of the pipe, and is generally selected within 0.4~1m. The addition of pipe clamp support can not only buffer vibration, but also reduce noise. In a pipe with a bend, support pipe clips should be used to fix the straight pipe segments at both ends of the bend, and pipe clips should be used to support the hard pipe segments when connecting to hoses.


Hose installation and layout principles
1. When installing the hose, various joint components should be correctly used to avoid excessive bending of the hose. Hose should not bear axial force to avoid damaging the connection between hose and connector. Proper accessories and connectors should be used to avoid additional stress. Avoid s-bending when installing the hose, because s-bending can cause excessive movement of the hose, increasing local pressure loss and reducing its service life.
2. The beginning of the hose bending should be 1.5 times of diameter D; The bending radius of the hose in use must be greater than or equal to the minimum allowable bending radius, and generally not less than 10 times of the outer diameter of the hose.
3. The length of the hose connecting the moving parts should meet the minimum allowable radius within its total range of motion, and the hose should not bear tensile stress.
4. The hose shall not be twisted when the components connected to the hose move relative to each other. Therefore, the hose shall be bent only in the same plane when the parts move. This can be done by changing the Angle of the joint.

5. When the hose is bent in different planes, a longer hose is usually used and a tube clamp is added at the conversion plane to fix the hose. The clamp actually divides the hose into two sections, each bending in its own plane without being twisted. If it is impossible to avoid the hose distortion in practical applications, the hose should be as loose as possible.


Precautions for hose installation
1. No torsion phenomenon, hose installation, should make in the working state through its own weight to make each tensile stress disappear (do not produce installation stress).
Torsional assembly skills: both ends of the direct head, first fixed one end to the predetermined torque, the other end of the first hand screwed in, using a double wrench, screwed to the specified torque; One end elbow, one end straight head, first gently put the straight head nut into the screw, put the elbow end to the required position, tighten the specified torque, use a double wrench, screw the straight head to the specified torque;
2. The hose should be equipped with anti-mechanical device as far as possible, and should be installed according to its natural state, to avoid sharp bend at the joint.
3. The correct use of appropriate accessories and connectors can avoid additional stress hose.
4. Avoid external damage. The effect of external machinery on hoses, the friction of hoses on components, and the interaction between hoses can be avoided by proper hoses configuration and fixation. Such as outer pipe sheath protection, add anti-friction parts.
5. Ensure that the hose has enough slack and allowance, so that the hose can adjust itself when it is under pressure. If the hose is too short, it may cause the hose and connector to pull out, or act on the connector to cause seal failure and metal wear.
6. The use of pipe clamp, can increase the stability of pipeline arrangement, avoid friction between pipe and equipment. However, the use of clamps should not sacrifice the flexibility of the pipe under pressure and in motion.
7. Any connection form should consider the minimum bending radius, to prevent the hose in the process of work due to fatigue effect fracture.
