1、The influence of the quality of the sealing surface on the sealing performance
When the specific pressure on the sealing surface is below 40MPa, the quality of the sealing surface plays a decisive role. When the specific pressure on the sealing surface is small and the surface roughness is large, the leakage of fluid increases rapidly; when the specific pressure on the sealing surface is large, the influence of surface roughness on the leakage is significantly reduced. This is because, when the specific pressure is large, the wave compression on the sealing surface is more significant than when the specific pressure is small, and the difference in roughness between the sealing surface at all levels becomes less.
2、The width of the sealing surface The width of the sealing surface determines the length of the capillary hole.
When the width increases, the fluid travels longer along the capillary hole, thus increasing the resistance to movement. Increase the width of the sealing surface can reduce the erosion and wear in high-pressure valves. An increase in the width of the sealing surface causes a proportional increase in the length of the leakage stroke, thus reducing the amount of leakage proportionally lower.
