Select the appropriate viscosity hydraulic oil. The system with high temperature and high pressure should choose the hydraulic oil with higher viscosity so as to obtain better lubricity, on the contrary, the system with low temperature and low pressure should choose the hydraulic oil with lower viscosity so as to reduce energy consumption.
Specifically, too high viscosity selection, lubrication is beneficial, but increase the resistance and pressure loss of the system, resulting in increased power loss, oil temperature, hydraulic action instability, noise, etc.; too high viscosity will also cause the pump low temperature start suction difficulties, and even cause low temperature start interrupting the oil supply, equipment failure.
On the contrary, when the viscosity of the hydraulic system is too low, it will increase the internal and external leakage of hydraulic equipment, and the working pressure of the hydraulic system is unstable or reduced, which will lead to abnormal wear of the pump in serious cases.
